Description
A true one-of-a-kind work by New York artist and sculptor Stuart Taylor Rabb, known for working across a variety of mediums, including sculpture and carving. Created in 1997 as a birthday gift for his friend Joe, this miniature antique shop is filled with the most incredible tiny details, from the hand-painted brick facade to the antiques displayed behind the glass storefront. Signed, dated, and personally inscribed by the artist on the reverse.
Rabb has since passed, and I have found very few examples of Rabb’s work available, making this an especially unusual find. A tiny work of art made even better by the fact that it is an antique shop.
