Antique Circa 1850 Beaded House & Landscape Needlework

A beautiful mid-19th century beaded needlework depicting two houses and a landscape scene, intricately worked in tiny glass beads. The piece combines traditional stitched needlework with tiny glass beads that catch the light and add pretty dimension to the scene. I adore the antique oval wood frame with its gilt inner liner. The back has a handwritten notation identifying the work and dating it to circa 1850. 10 in tall x 11.5 in wide.
